30. Thirty different editions of the Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL. That's how many options those lucky Japanese get. And today, a new one was confirmed! Lucky bastards!

This edition of a 3DS XL is more beautiful then your imaginary girlfriend. If Emma Stone and Link had a baby, it would be this 3DS XL. It's an entirely black system, and has a textured top shell in what appears to be a light plaid design. It also has a small but totally sexy logo in the corner. The logo is on the system because the 3DS is packaged with some crazy Japanese game called Super Robot Wars.

Mech fighting in 3D? That's it. I'm moving to Japan.

Unfortunately, much like the other 20 or so hardware models that Japan keeps to itself, this bundle will never see the light of day here in America.

In other news, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has been released on the iOS App Store. Personally, I think it's a shame that 3DS exclusives are being ported to other systems. It could damage Nintendo, because exclusives are one of the key components to Nintendo's success. Regardless, if you haven't tried it out, I urge you to do so, especially if you are a Final Fantasy fan. And even if you aren't, it's still a solid rhythm game.

Oh, and one more thing.... The long running Nintendo magazine, Nintendo Power, has recently shipped out it's final issue. For 285 issues, The fabulous staff there has done a brilliant job at providing news and supporting the gaming community, but since the Internet became the fastest way to get gaming news, magazines such as Nintendo Power have been closing their doors.
