"It`s simple actually. The further I starve the worthless wretches, the closer I am to breaking them and bending them to my will."
Izen moved in on the lord while he was talking.
"Yet, you reap them of their money? How are they going to gain money if there's none left?"
"That is not my problem. I'm subjected to rule them. Peasants do all the work."
Lord Viran pulled a few coins out of his pocket and tossed them at Izen's feet.
"Here. Grab yourself some decent clothes. Hahaha! You'll be here for a long time, my new peasant."
"I'm not taking their money. It's blood money. Your mind is corrupt."
"You dare defy me?"
"I'm not your subject so yes, I will defy you."
"You will learn the hard way then."
Izen tested the chains on his wrists and felt them loosening up.
"Guards, take this low life prisoner to the deepest dungeons and be quick about it!"
Lord Viran snickered, filled with joy. Guards walked up behind Izen and grabbed his arms, trying to move him out of the chamber. Izen slipped his hands out of the chains and brought them around the neck of a soldier, holding him hostage. The guards circled around Izen, holding their swords out. Lord Viran yelled out in anger.
"What are you doing? Kill them both!"
Izen twisted the chains around the soldiers neck, strangling him and tossing him into an oncoming guard. He quickly pulled out his gun and fired off a couple shots, sidling across the dead soldiers. Lord Viran clenched the bulb of his armrest and detested.
"You flithy peasant!"
Izen turned back to the lord and walked up to him, pressing his gun against his head.
"Lay down your arms and hand the people of Ohan back their money."
"I'm not going to just hand over MY money."
"You do realise that fear is the only factor between you and your people. They could easily kill you just as I would."
"You have no right. Besides, you can't lay a finger on me without being marked a wanted man. You'd be killing a government official."
"Enough!"
