The ear piece fell to the table and Don scooped it up.
"Who's in this group?"
"Just us two right now. I'm actually progressing towards others."
"Do I need to do anything?"
"Just return to your life. I'll contact you if I need you."
"OK. By the way, thanks for helping everyone out. I apologize for not doing anything."
"What's done is done."

Don watched Izen turn and head out before he picked his mug back up to sip it. He slipped the ear piece into his pocket and smiled.
Izen stood outside and looked up at the night sky. He took a step down Lian Rd and was stopped by a civilian.
"Come. Stay at our inn. You need some sleep and we can provide you with the best rooms. It's the least we can do."

Izen nodded and looked onward. The citizen took Izen to the inn down the street and showed him the way in. A man at the counter gave him a room and helped him there. Izen walked in, took his shoes off, and fell back onto the bed. His Nanospec vibrated letting him know he had a message. Once it was withdrawn, he checked the message and saw it was from Roy.
"I didn't talk to you through the ear piece in case you were busy. Anyway, have you been successful? I just wanted to check up on you."

Izen brushed his hand through his hair and responded back.
"Everything's fine. I'm actually heading to bed. Where are you now?"
"I can't give the details, but if you're heading to bed, then I'll see you off.

The message faded away and Izen put his Nanospec away before dozing off into the deep tranquility of darkness.
