Happy holidays, SDK forums! Journey here, with another Nintendo update! Just so you guys know, I have taken your input into consideration and will be posting images in my blog posts from now on. If you are having a hard time seeing the images, or if you have any other suggestions, let me know! On with the news!

The most notable incident that occurrd over the past few days was the theft of over 7,000 Wii U consoles from an airport near Seattle. The stolen consoles were taken from an airport warehouse sometime over the weekend, where the thieves loaded the consoles into trucks using the facility's forklifts. The entire load was estimated to have been worth an astounding $2.28 million in U.S. currency. The thieves have yet to been located, but in my opinion, I think they'll be caught. Unless they have huge families to give the systems to for Christmas, they'll probably end up for sale on the Internet. Possibly the black market. Or perhaps the thieves were a bunch of Sony or Microsoft fanboys who secretly are huge Nintendo fans. Oh well.

Oh, and some interesting things are going on tomorrow. First and foremost, Nintendo Tvii is scheduled to be released on the Wii U, after being delayed for more than a month. You'll have to wait for your Netflix and Tivo integration, though; That won't be coming until next year. I really hope that Nintendo has created a polished and organized application, rather than some lazy, half-finished program. If it's successful, the Wii U will no longer be strictly a gaming console, but rather an all-in-one media hub. That, and it'll be fricken awesome for watching football. Your move, big N.

Tomorrow also marks the release of some brand new DLC for New Super Mario Bros. 2. As usual, both will cost $2.99 and contain 3 Coin Rush levels. One of the packs is titled the Impossible Pack, which sounds like a challenge to me. Be warned though; This pack is so difficult that it exceeds level 5 on the Difficulty rating scale, which is on all of the NSMB DLC. The scale actually reads "DANGER!!!" on it, so I assume Nintendo isn't kidding around. The other one appears slightly less menacing, and is titled the "Mystery Adventures Pack". This one is all about finding hidden pathways and secret exits, and is much less difficult, with a rating of 3 out of 5.


Impossible, you say? Challenge accepted.

While we're on the topic of the 3DS, here's the shiny new 3DS XL that I mentioned last week. I'm still a little peeved that it isn't coming to the states, but I suppose you can't have it all. But that mech fighting game still seems pretty cool to me!

In other news, Capcom has pushed back Monster Hunter 4 for a summer release in Japan, which means we won't be seeing it for quite some time.
