Joker nodded and put the phone away.
"Sure thing."
Izen smiled and left the room, heading down the hall. His phone vibrated and he withdrew it. The picture was displayed on the screen. He shut his phone off and put it away. Once out in the kitchen, Izen looked over at Joker's brother who was focused on his pad. The man looked up at Izen and tapped his pad.
"Did my brother provide you information?"
"Yes. He's an oddball."
"He's my brother. He's always like that."
Joker's voice resonated from the hallway.
"I heard that!"
Izen looked over at the clock in the corner of the kitchen. It was pretty late in the evening. Joker's brother waved him off and continued with his work. Izen left the house and noticed the sun going down. Shadows slowly started arching away.
Izen hopped on to the AMZ on the side of the building and drove off down the dirt path. Cold air brushed against his face causing him to squint. Once he made it back to the graveyard, he sat the bike to the side of the road and left it behind.
The mech sat beyond the fence, unscathed, and quite occupied by blue jays. They pecked at the metal shoulders of the mech and chirped. He motioned for the birds to leave and climbed into his machine. Air rolled out of the cockpit and onto the ground. A man on an AMZ stopped by the graveyard and hollered at Izen.
"Soldier, what are you doing by the graveyard with that machine?"
"I'm leaving."
"I know that, soldier. You still haven't answered my question."
"I was here for a meeting, and that 'machine', is a mech."
"Sorry about the intrusion. Have a nice night."
As soon as the man drove off, the mech sealed up and flew up into the air. His Nanospec vibrated and a image with a message appeared before his eyes.
"I pinpointed Cornellia's location. She is over in Rita, Tokyo for a Cherry Blossom festival. The town will be full of traditional samurai. Get her number for me, would you? Joker out."
Izen smiled and shook his head, flying off towards Tokyo.
