In case you did not know,
I have a heart,
I have a soul,
I can love,
But I wish I was loved,
My friends call me smart,
My parents call me dumb,
They crush my dreams,
Before they grow,
I want to achieve,
I have ambitions,
To become a doctor or a vet,
I'm getting the grades,
A*'s or A's,
Possibly a B,
But no more than one,
My teachers say I'm bright,
But is this really what you call a happy life,
I'm called a little kid,
Who seeks a lot of attention,
Because of saying hi,
Maybe the best thing for all,
Would be to die.
