This is the first installment of a new series of gaming blogs in which I talk about game stuff and you impatiently listen with stylus in hand ready to correct my mistakes! I'm your host Dr. Redead Guy, with yet another Pokèmon X and Pokèmon Y blog. Because you still don't realize that there is going to be a new generation of Pokèmon, which will bring the count up to 700 Pokèmon! Try catching all of them now.

At first, I didn't like the names, I mean, X and Y? It wasn't until I looked into my great big book of STUFF that I realized that it was eluding to chromosomes. So don't be confused with the x-axis and the y-axis. Because the next game will definitely NOT be Pokèmon Z which would elude to the z-axis which is forward and backward movement. If you didn't pass, like, first grade and don't know how to graph, I'll tell you. So, the first thing you need to know is plotting. (x,y) is the point, "x" is the point on the x-axis and "y" is the point on the y-axis. You look at the number in place of x and move left or right on the x-axis. Then you look at the number in place place y, and move up and down on the y-axis. Now, put the two together and you've got your point. Now, let's get away from the boring stuff.

I have mixed reactions on the Pokemon released. First off, there's Fennekin. The first time I saw it, I thought it was a Chihuahua. It wasn't until I saw it the second time that I realized that it was a fox. Then again, I am a zombienoid, sooo... Anyway, it's the fire starter. It's a fox with red hair in places, not much to say. The water starter, Froakie, is a blue frog with white fluff on the back of it's neck. It's name kinda sounds like croaky, as in... um, I dunno. The grass type starter is Chespin, which is obviously a- it's a uh- Let's just say it's a platypus from now on, with a hat because I can't figure out what it is. Chespin is a platypus with a green hat and brown skin, so you better no mistake him with Agent P. Oh yea, he has buck teeth.

The first Legendary is Xerneas, which is a big deer. I mean, it isn't necessarily a deer, it could be a caribou or a [place animal with antlers here], but for the case of simplicity, let's call it a deer. It's blue with really big antlers. It's cool, and I think that it's the nicer of the two. Why? Because there is this shrine in Japan, the deer there are so used to humans that they eat out of your hand.

Yveltel is the second legendary. It's a really big bird of prey. It's red and looks kinda like the one giant bird in Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, except of coarse it's red. You can tell it's a bird of prey because of all the razor sharp claws. I will be ticked off if it can't use fly.

X and Y is going to be the main series first full 3d game. It may or may not still be the grid style movement, but to be honest, I don't care. All I care about, is if I can spin around in a circle. After all that's all that matters, right?

Verdict:
I don't know how this game will turn up. But with an enhanced battle screen, full 3d graphics everywhere, two new pokèmon, including at least two new legendaries, I can already tell that Pokèmon X and Pokèmon Y are going to be instant best sellers, and now with downloadable retail games, Nintendo can sell more Pokèmon games day one than ever. I'm going to look forward to this game in October.
