The world has been plagued with many illnessess. Diabetes is one of them.
So, What is Diabetes?
Diabetes is a metabolic disease in which the pancreas does not produce insulin like it should, or the other body cells do not react to the insulin correctly.
Nobody exactly knows what causes Diabetes. People think obese people get it. Well, they do have a higher chance of Getting Type 2 Diabetes, but being obese does not directly cause it.
There are A few types of Diabetes, with 2 main....branches. Easily identified as Type 1 and Type 2.
For right now im just going to focus on Type 1.
Type 1 Diabetes is commonly called the Juvenile Diabetes because it is usually diagnosed when the person is a child, or teenager. But some rare cases the person was older.
A person with Type 1 will occasionally get High Blood Sugar, because of course, the pancreas is not producing insulin to keep it down.
High Blood Sugar, or Hyperglycemia, usually causes dehydration, which also leads to frequent urination. They person in Hyperglycemia may also feel sick and dizzy.
The opposite of Hyperglycemia is Hypoglycemia. Which is when the Blood Sugar goes too low. Here is a chart
Diabetics usually try to stay around 80 - 150.
But, keeping a constant bloodsugar is almost impossible.
Diabetics must take a few shots of insulin a day, alongside the finger pricks for blood testing.
But if getting the correct dose isnt hard enough, Exercise can drop the bloodsugar down. But heres where it gets crazy. Thinks like Getting mad, or thinking real hard on a test can even effect the bloodsugar because the body releases hormones that mess with the bloodsugar.
Diabetics must stay on a Carbohydrate counted diet, which can be tough, because a lot of home-made food is impossible to calculate.
It does not mean we cannot eat it, we just got to be careful about it and also make healthy choices because the amount of fat, fiber, protein, sugar, etc. effect the bloodsugar also.
I am a Diabetic myself.
It would seem rough for a normal person, but its not too bad once you get used to it.
You can still eat cake and stuff.
I would love to hear what you think, so please comment!

I'm not sure as to why he declined it, maybe because you mainly covered and detailed the very basic information on the subject.
Or maybe because you made a personal mention on it as well.
There are a few steps you could follow to improve this blog's content.
For example, you can cover the basic information on the subject which in this case, most people are relatively aware, its not exactly something new, so you need something new. Being a diabetic yourself, I'd suggest telling more about a diabetic personal daily life related to the problem, you can tell that with high detail. That would be different and would enrich the blog. Of course, don't relate it in the 1st person, be anonymous. Like someone who is bringing the reader inside your story, but is not taking part on it, just narrating (you).
There are other means of course. My suggestion is to not make personal mentions, unless its very subtle, necessary or part of your way to relate informally with your readers. Thats probably why he declined
