My eyes darted from left to right, frantically, trying to figure out where I was. They finally caught onto a small sigh right near my left knee. "Caution, rabid animal." Rabid animal? What? Was this some kind of joke, or something?

I looked down, at my feet. They seemed different... Smaller, with some webbing inbetween the toes. Wait... Webbing in between the toes? This wasn't even amphibious webbing... More like lace... Like... Like spider webbing! I got to thinking.

If my feet looked like this, what has becom of my arms? My face? My stomach? Did I look like a huge mutant that was going to gorge out your eyes? Boy, do I hope not...

I slowly turned my head to a sign above my head. It read, "Aleas Aranea" I searched my head for a meaning. Hm... This is Latin... I stared closer at the sign.

AHA! It says, "The Winged Spider!" Winged Spider...? But I'm human! With no wings!

I suddenly felt something flutter and send a gust behind me. What?! Since when did I grow wings!? Last week I was hu- ... That's just it, isn't it? Last week I WAS human, but right now, this very minute, I'm a hybrid. A monster to the human eye. Right now I'm a winged spider.

Well, this is the prolouge to my new story, "The Winged Spider." So... yea. .3.

Well off course it isn't the best thing you read ._. There's probably way better stories. This a was last minute, I'm bored story. Lol.

Yea, it's a typo. And most of the questions'll be answered in chapters to come, that's why this is filled with questions.

But I do feel like there is something missing here, but it's probably just me. It's not the best thing I've read, but I can't think of anyway to improve it that isn't hidden in my last post.

I think it's supposed to be small sign, but it's just a typo. This is kinda weird I think this would've been better if you made it chapter one and continued on with it. Not every story needs a prologue, it doesn't always help to set the mood of the story. Though it does make you ask some questions that would be answered sometime in chapter 1, or even later. Though I feel that for some reason, something is missing. So I suggest you keep writing, as I'm interested in the concept of this and I can't wait for my questions to be answered.
