Firstly, I would like to point out that I wasn't sure if I should put this in "Gaming" or "Reviews".
Anyway. Heres a review on a fun game which is avalible for most devices [Wii, DS, X-Box, PS3, e.g.t] Which is LEGO™ Lord of The Rings.
Now, like most LEGO™ games, there arw many ups and downs. I will go through these later in the review.
LEGO™ Lord of The Rings is a game which allows you to go through the adventure of Frodo Baggins, and all of his friends, in the quest to destroy the One Ring of Power, in the comical LEGO™ way.
If you have seen Peter Jackson's Lord of The Rings film trilogy, then you will be happy to know that they have used a fair bit of the audio from the films in this game, aswell as a few other voices used for background characters. The sad news is, is that they miss out quite of the good parts of the film.
Each character has at least one use that can help either proseed through levels, or getting to LEGO™ Mithril bricks, which can later be used to smith different items and weapons.
There are many eastereggs in the game, one is at Weathertop, when on Freeplay you can climb to the top, jump into to a pool of water and you will hear an Eagle, like on Assassin's Creed.
Now, onto the ups and downs.
There are many fun things to do after finishing the main story line, go to Bree to use your LEGO™ Mithril Bricks to create usefull [Or pretty fun] items. Explore Middle-Earth to unlock new characters. You can even customise your own characters in Bilbo's home!
Now. One of the many bad bits of LEGO™ games is glitches. I've encountered atleast 5 that had forced me to reset the Wii. One was fighting the Uruk-Hai boss, and we [Me and my brother] managed to freeze the boss, but nothing else, we couldn't attack him or anything. Another annoying thing about the game is that the lack of information from the books/ films. For example, In Gondor, they don't Faromirs father try to burn him alive. But apart from that, the whole game experience is great.
