Your love is like a apple tree.
You help me start anew.

Your branches that are strong through each night.
You give me strength through your arms that hold me tight.

Your leaves take in light that helps the little apple grow.
You say words that warm my heart you always know.

Your roots that soak up each drop.
Your sweet words that you never stop.

You can make the little apple weak with what you give.
You can make me weep with what you forget.

You know when the time has come.
You heart has stopped some.

You let the little apple fall to the ground.
You break my heart with a frown.

You leave it laying there, where the little apple may rot.
You leave my crying there, where another may take my spot.

Your not aware that some one has picked that little apple beneath your batch.
Your not aware that some one has come along to help me patch.

You stay behind as the little apple is taken.
Your left behind as I'm in the making.

You helped the little apple grow.
Now it's time for me to let you go.

You once had a place to keep the little apple safe and warm.
You once had a woman that would have done even more.

Your little apple has made it far.
You left me little scars.

That little apple in now a treat.
And I have started a family.
