Rolling Girl is dreaming all the day
of things she knows are far away.
If you could get inside her twisted head,
you would see all the pain.
Look and see all the pain!
"I'm just fine." she breathes out with a sigh,
even though she knows it's a lie.
Failing again, again and again,
making so many mistakes, she's going crazy,
so she'll roll again!
Just once more! Just once more!
"I will roll today just like the day before."
That's what she says, what she says,
as she plays with her words in all the many ways.
"Are you better now?"
"It's still far somehow.
I don't see a point in keeping on going,
so I'll just stop breathing now...
Right now!"
Rolling Girl loves to play pretend
that she's not stuck at a dead end.
Voices scream at her inside her little head.
They're driving her insane.
See her going insane!
"I'm just fine." she breathed out with a sigh.
Oh, can't you see that it's all a lie?
Trying her best to make it right,
but the same mistakes are made the next time.
The slope is tempting her!
Just once more! Just once more!
"I will roll today just like the day before."
That's what she says, what she says,
as she plays with her words in all the many ways.
"Are you better now?"
"Just a little more!
I think an end is coming into view,
so I'll just hold my breath now,
For now..."
Just once more! Just once more!
"I promise, Rolling Girl, that you will roll no more."
That's what he said, what he said,
as he held her close and pressed a finger to her lips.
"Are you better now?
I think that's enough.
You have to be sick and tired of this.
So please keep breathing now,
for now..."
