Foxes are the only kind of dog that can retrating their claws like of cats can.Foxes also have vertcal pupils that look like cats than the round eyes of dogs.
There are many diferent types of foxes, they are the most widespread specis of dog in the world.Foxes live in almost any part of the world-cites,country sides,mountans,forests and grasslands.Arctic foxes live in cold areas like: far north,and fennec foxes live in the African desert.
When foxes are born they can't see,hear or walk.Their mother has to take good care of them.When foxes are young their father hunts and brings food back for his family.
Sadly,some mean people hunt foxes and call it a "sport".In 2004 a law was made in Wales and England that you can't hunt foxes with dogs.However you can still hunt foxes with dogs in many other places-Ireland,Australia and North America.
Foxes eat about anything like:berries,spiders,worms and little animals like: birds and mice.But if they live in the city they eat stuff people leave out.
Gray are the who live in north America are the only fox in the wotld that can climb trees!
Foxes show wonderful love to young foxes.The Daliy Mail reported in May 2009 that a young fox cub was caught in a cage and stayed there for two weeks before he was rescued by the RSSPCA.He was hurt so he could not escape.He live because his mom feed him well waiting for help.
