I finally got some free time this weekend and worked on an update to the SDK Community App for iOS. This one just has some minor tweaks in appearance and background functionality to prepare for iOS 7's release in a few months. New features will come in the next release. Here is a quick run-down of the updates:
- Fixed some memory leaks on closing windows
- All windows for posting content do the 3D transition flip (which iOS 7 shows through to the Sprngboard wallpaper).
- Always shows the status bar on iPhone/iPod (to fit the iOS 7 UI guidelines)
- Dropped support for iOS 4.3, since all devices that support it also support iOS 5.
The next version will include the HB Online content for the Pro version and additional content for both versions. I'm still leaning toward chatrooms, but I haven't fully decided yet.
(Note to jsa005: API version 2.2.8 is ready for Android development.)
Oh, and my API key doesn't work. @HB, could you message me an example request with the API key actually there? I was thinking of using DSiPaint login on Hatenagain (read my blogs).
Yeah, please put chatrooms on. I use my iPod more than my DS so chatrooms that chat with all the Nintendo devices would be great. It'll be faster and easier to use too won't it.
So, I'm wondering... Do you have the app connected to the other browser sites, or is it on its own? Also, if you do, does the universal linking trick work? I think it would be a bit inconvenient if iOS devices could read the website data but couldn't follow the links formatted for DSi/3DS/Wii/WiiU browsers...
