This is a blog to answer ANY questions you might have about Wicca. Inspired by Hullbreach's own blog: Misconceptions About Christianity I decided it was a good idea to do the same for my own religion & help answer any questions you might have.
Wicca, & Paganism itself is the butt of many untrue facts, which, for hundreds of years inspired fear in individuals, caused riots, & even forms of predjudice (think of the Salem Witch Trials). All of this is due to a lack of understanding & facts that were either half-true or, more commonly, not true at all.
So, with the above being said, If you have ANY questions about Wicca, this is your chance: feel free to ask below & I'll answer it as best as I can.
my family and i have always practiced wicca, but we dont treat it as a religion. its easy and most people can do it, it has alot of benifits once you get into stone alchemy- which is my favorite. i dont have any questions, i just figured id contribute a little
i read that worshipping animals also has something to do with panganism. is that true?

Animals are considered Sacred & completely pure. When doing ritual, an animal is the ONLY being that may enter a purified circle at will without the burden of being purified each time BECAUSE they're such pure beings.
How accurate are pop culture references, like Harry Potter?

Pop culture references are so Inaccurate, that, in MY opinion, it's almost laughable. In my opinion alone, the amount of pop culture that you can count as FALSE is probably 99% of it, or damn close.

Not at all. Some people consider themselves as JUST Wiccan, other's consider themselves as JUST witches, still others, like me consider themselves to be both.
There is a very large difference between a Witch & a Wiccan Practitioner.
Do you get a special outfit or hat or anything of that sort when you convert to Wicca?

We don't where anything special or specific per se. But, in some rituals held by older, or more traditional groups (covens), during worship, which is held outdoors, usually in the backyard, everyone worships nude. In other's each make there own robes. It varies among person & coven.

It's worth looking into it, even if you're just interested in what it is. If I can answer any questions in the future, I'll be more then happy to help.
I'm interested in the celestial and lunar aspect. Could you explain the significance of it?

We look to the Sky as as our 'altar' so to say. We celebrate the lunar & solar events.
The sun, being projective, represents the God. While the moon, being softer & running in a monthly cycle is a good fit to represent the Goddess.
