Twins never do get equal attention....
A story somewhat based off the song "Time to Dance" by Panic! at the Disco. Also I like denying characters' deaths. Possible tie-ins to SHSL Despair and Altered Ego as the story goes on.
The sounds around me were the cause of my awakening. I could hear strange noises nearby. Among them... Some voices, and... Familiar laughter, cut off by a loud thud. I didn't bother to wonder what it was. I just laid back and close my eyes, and allowed myself to fall asleep once more.
Only weeks ago we were strangers. Just fifteen kids, sent to this strange place. Told that we were the best of our kinds. Little did we know what this truly was. A battle royale. Everybody against everybody. No one could be trusted... Not even myself.
My sister and I had planned this all along. She wanted attention, but she was always ignored. This angered her. She told me she wanted revenge.
Of course, I went along with it. We planned together for weeks, and eventually, it began.
I was undercover. Pretending to be my sister, so that I could protect her. Those around me wouldn't suspect that their old friend was behind this all, if I continued to play innocent.
And innocent I was.
It was our second day there. First death. We were all gathered there, in the gym, waiting.
I didn't want this to happen. She never told me that murder was actually in the plan. It brought back things that I didn't want to remember. I couldn't control my anger. I kicked that... Thing. Kept it down.
And that was a bad idea. My sister hadn't quite perfected the program--
Suddenly, I realized. My sister! I needed to make sure she was still alive! I struggled to sit up, and, as my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I noticed my surroundings. Dead bodies in a dark room. I couldn't see my sister among the bodies, but I decided it was still worth looking. I pushed myself up, shaking slightly. <How long have I been out...?> I thought. Usually it wasn't that hard for me to walk.
I snuck out of the room-- which appeared to be a storage room, upon further inspection-- and headed to the source of the sounds. The execution room.
