Whoever owned the voices had left already. Or maybe... I knelt down, noticing the blood on the ground in front of me. I froze. Multiple people had been executed, all at the same time. I couldn't help but gag a little. I may be a soldier, but the sight of blood... It disgusts me, to be honest. I quickly stood back up, and I saw a bright red light. Suddenly, the lights in the room turned on, and there was a familiar figure standing in front of me.
"Mukuro Ikusaba, or, shall I say... Enoshima?" a voice rang out. "I thought you were dead, dear sister." The figure hopped down from a small ledge, approaching me.
"Likewise, Junko," I responded, somewhat curious as to why she seemed angry to see me. "Why? Why did you do it?"
"Do what?" she asked, trying her best to play innocent. But I had no time to play games.
"The students, Junko. The students. Why did you kill them?! Why?!" I shouted, trembling. She just stared at me, then laughed.
"They're not dead, Mukuro!! Don't be silly! Our organization has a medic, remember?" I had a bad feeling she was joking.
"Well then, why is there blood?"
"There's always blood when people are injured! C'mon, sis, you've been in a war before. You should know this. And I never planned to kill any of them. Have you ever stopped to wonder why I only picked the best of the best? Because I knew they would survive, and continue their life in despair. They would learn to fear me. I wasn't going to be ignored any longer, remember? There's a good reason they were nearly killed in a certain order, sister, you just haven't thought of it yet." She smiled. "So much for being the wise older twin, hm?"
"But then... Why did you... Try to kill /me/?" I stepped back, in case she was planning to attack again.
"Oh, you really don't know? You always got more attention! Mommy and daddy were so proud of little Mukuro! Junko was just another mouth to feed. When she got famous, they didn't care, but when Mukuro joined the military, it was all 'good luck's and 'we love you's! I've always wanted you gone, and yet here you are. You're still alive." She clenched her fists, clearly angry that her plan had failed. "I've got another chance to end it now, though. I'll give you five seconds to run, or I'm going to kill you."
