Does anyone remember Flipnote Hatena? I know lots of you do. It's sad. I never even knew it was gone until over last summer I felt nostalgic and wanted to see how Flipnote Hatena was, and all I got was a letter saying they shut it down. It made me sad because 1. I never really got to say goodbye to anyone I knew there 2. I had kept Hatena close to me since I was in the 4th or 5th grade and it had helped me through. I could always count on my friends there to cheer me up. I didn't have an XBox or even a computer or Wii then, so everyone would keep me company (call me lonely) 3. I owe it to one random user in the entire Hatena community who posted a flipnote about cool DSi sites to go on for the fact I'm here today. He told me about a site called Dsicade, and I tried it out. I had a big group of friends there and it was like a 2nd family, and it was the most amazing thing I had in a long time. I eventually got even more friends and got here.
In all, Flipnote Hatena had helped me through a lot of life, including things from drawing skills to serious life issues. Flipnote Hatena saved me from a world of being a sad person who doesn't talk to anyone at all, to a very social person with very few problems. I had a good time there, and I hope people will remember it until the last Nintendo DSi ever made is gone. Thank you, Hatena.
