As we have all heard, Sega beat Nintendo into buying one of the greatest anime RPG company, Atlus. If you know Persona, any Shin Megami Tensei, well now all owned by Sega. However they're giving Atlus rights to only one series: Persona. It's due to the extreme popularity is has received all around the world. Persona 3 and 4 being the prime ones.
Let's be honest. This needed to happen because Atlus was finacially dying, they needed a company to help them out, it WAS going to be Nintendo due to most of their newer games released on Nintendo handhelds and the future release of Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem(Which this is still in development). If Nintendo bought it however, say goodbye to the usual rated Mature, 17+, or any mature content they usually put. And Persona 5 would NOT look good on a Wii U, they've been working on it since 2009 specifically for the PlayStation 3, and rumor has it as well as the Xbox One.
Should we give our thanks to Sega? Or was this infact a bad idea?
