It wasn't until another five minutes had passed before a man walked in with a small black dragon on his shoulder. He walked to the man at the counter, "Are you Cheria?" The cashier shook his head, "The girl in the cloak over there." The new man nodded and turned towards Cheria, who had stood up, "You must be Kale, and is that Verren?" The man nodded, "Yes I am Kale and this is Verren. You are Cheria, correct?" Cheria nodded and gestured for him to sit down.

The group talked amongst themselves for a bit before Cheria stood up and they all got quiet, "I know you're wondering why you were all called here. The reason is..." She paused and looked around the shop, "The reason is, you were all friends of Chris." She stopped as a murmur rose then died, "As you may have noticed, he isn't here..." Akari stood up, "Is he dead?!" Cheria looked over, her face not able to be seen under her cloak, "No, he was captured." All of them began talking at once, out of shock.

Kale stood up and smashed his fist on the table, causing everyone to go quiet, "If Chris is gone, then why are we all here?" Cheria looked away, "I'm not strong enough to get him by myself... So I needed people who would be willing to help."
