The eyes were blank starring up at the ceiling, skin snow white and cold as death.
Not good. Not good. Repeated the multitudes of voices in her head. Here she sat at the edge of her dear childe's bed side. The one person who had proved themselves to Raven to be a worthy immortal. And now she sat, waiting for Ariayous to wake up.
The day before was a blur of nothingness, just the sound of gunshots and screaming. The smell of her childe's blood.
Her home, yes, her home, Lilium had been attacked by Gabriel. And as revenge he... he took her childe's soul... He sent her to thedeepest pits ofhell, just to get back for the wrongs her master had commited.
Raven leaned her head forwards and rested her head on Ariayous's cheek, gently nuzzling her cold flesh.
"Im so sorry, my fledgling... I have failed you as a master, a sire... I have failed you as a sister... I should have kept you safe. You are more than my fledgling and I will repeat it. You are my sister. My dearest friend... My fledgling... My sister... Please return to me... I beg of you... return to your pitiful master and weakened sister..."
Bloody tears ran down the cheeks of damned angel. This one little girl had such aneffect on this cruel being it was almost pitiful... but this being loved the little girl and thats all that really mattered to the monser.
