People often talk about being bored and having nothing to do, so I decided to share a few ideas on how fix that. I hope you enjoy them.
Fun Things to Do
There are many fun things you can do when you're bored. I've mentioned this to a few of you before, but I like to play dress up. I find it's a fun and relaxing way to spend your time. It's really quite amazing how many different outfits you can create, and it's even more rewarding when you see how much people notice and appreciate how nice you look. For example, I came up with a very nice outfit a few days ago. When I wore it out to the park I was very pleased with the positive feedback I received. I caught quite a few eyes. Just be sure to be careful about what you wear because certain clothes might not attract the sort of attention you want. I know I'm always careful when picking out my clothes. By the way, I really like teddy bears, so a lot of my clothes incorporate teddy bear designs or other bear related things. I just think they're so cute.
Another fun thing I like to do is sing. Anyone can do this. You don't need to be a great singer, but if your voice is a concern of yours then just try to practice. It's not a big deal if you aren't as good as you'd like to be. I know I practice my singing skills by singing some rather difficult songs to imitate, such as Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root. It's pretty hard for me to sound like that, but it's a very upbeat and cheerful song, so I enjoy it anyway.
If those things don't really appeal to you then there's always the option to just go out for a run. People have done this for a very long time. I myself particularly enjoy the night air. I'll just go take a nice stroll through the park at night. I enjoy it very much and the exercise is a great help to my health.
I know some people might consider it a bit dangerous to go out at night all on your own, especially if you live in a big city. Honestly though, would you rather be out alone in the dark in a heavily populated city or out alone in the dark in a small town where no one would be around to hear cries for help? All I'm say is there are dangers all around, and I'd rather take my chances near a lot of other people.
I mean, what if some weirdo were to suddenly sneek up on you? In a big city you'd just have to run a few yards to find help. I know I'll try to find people when I get scared on my nightly run through the park.
Of course, if weirdos are out there and the nearest person won't help you, then you just have to be faster than them. I don't think murderers are that concerned with the second closest witness. That's when it'd be good to be used to running.
But if getting chased by a killer at night is something you're worried about, don't worry. If a killer is after you, then I doubt your chances of survival are much better when sitting around at home. It's easier to get someone when they're at ease than when they're already running, you know.
Back to the point though, there are plenty of fun things you can do when you're bored, so there are no excuses. I think I'll probably have to change my running route though. Lately I've been hearing there's some weirdo out there at night dressed up as a bear while chasing people and singing nonsensically. I don't want to run into that freak.
Thanks for reading. I hope you can all take something out from this.
