Hello there. I know I've been promising this for ages, and I know that in the last blog I posted (unfeatured) it just didn't work (I forgot to start the server), and I know I have a reputation for promising and not delivering.
And yes, I know about Sudofox's Flipnote Service, Sudomemo and how he released his first. In fact, the two of us are working together, sharing information that we discover, helping each other to make a Flipnote server.
But I'm working away into the twilight hours on jsatena, making it awesome.
Today, though, instead of telling you how to connect to it, because at the moment you can't, all I'm going to say is this:
jsatena, also known as Hatenagain and Flipnote Reborn, is not dead, and is very much alive and in progress. Stay tuned.
Also, if you would like any of the dumps of communication between the DSi and Flipnote Hatena, recorded before Hatena shut down, then feel free to contact me via email. Please note I will not give these dumps to everybody just yet. I need to know you actually have a serious use for these dumps. To get my email address, parse this little bit of PHP (the address ends up in $end):
<?php
$dom = "outlook.com";
$usr = "jsafive";
$end = $usr."@".$dom;
?>
If you've worked that out, you'll probably get the dumps. I'm also considering creating a wiki with information on all technical things to do with Flipnote Servers, and this too will at first be members-only.
But user or developer, watch this space because this thing is going to be epic.
