As a young elf of the Dark Forest elves Nightforest Clan, she witnessed the horror of her peoples demise from the dead weight of her brother who laid ontop of her in order to keep her from the fire that engulfed their home after humans, demons, and even an angel decided that they had spent their time long enough on the earth.
Volinga now wonders the earth, wondering what she did wrong to deserve to be alone. She often beheads those she finds as a threat.
She once saved a child from a burning building only to have the parts accuse her of murdering their baby and trying to give them a changling. The child grew up to be known as Dri, viewing Volinga as a sister.
