Hello, my name is Dim Tim. I recently posted my first mixtape on datpiff.com called Welcome to the Dim Side. I would appreciate it if you at least listen to a few songs.

Before I talk about the mixtape, I would like to tell you that all the songs are clean. I do not like to curse and I feel it adds nothing to the song. It has became my style of writing being curse free and will probably not change.

The mixtape starts with a song titled "The Return of Dim Tim". I have been rapping for four years now. This is just a introduction track to Dim Tim. This is followed by "Stroke of Ego", which is my bragging track. The whole point of this mixtape was to show people the different topics that I rap about.

I originally made this mixtape as the Welcome to the Dark Side, but that was before I developed my skill as an artist. I decided to return to this project and fix the songs. It was very fun for me to remake this album because it opened my eyes to the older material I made. The mixtape includes one bonus song that I was not sure if I was going to release. It is called "Romeo Without Juliet". This was the song that made me love the project.

"Romeo without Juliet" follows the story of Romeo and Juliet. I added my own Dim twist on it. Basically, the song is about Tim and Dim arguing about who I should date. The song takes place after Romeo is banished from Verona, which is symbolic for my break up with Ciara. At the time, I wrote this track Ciara, my ex girlfriend broke up with me. I was deciding if I should ask her out again. Dim is asking why don't I just date Rosaline who is really Cristina. The song ends with me dying like the story which represents rejection. I am going to make a part two to this song eventually called "Romeo Without Juliet the Final Act".

The other love song I put on the mixtape is called "Beauty and the Beast the curse is back". When I wrote this song, my school put on the play Beauty and the Beast. I was developing a crush on a girl in the cast named Skylar. I wrote this song, which is actually a sequel to an older track called "Beauty and the Beast". It basically speaks through the Beast's point of view. He is angry that Belle is not paying attention to him. I love to make these story-like songs and will be making more of them.

The next project I am currently working on is the Dim Tim LP. This long play is about my character Dim Tim. It is basically a trip into the mind of Dim Tim. Anyway, I hope you guys download my mixtape. If you want more music, check out DJ Dim Tim on YouTube.
