1: How did you and Hull first meet? How long ago was that?
I met Danny in 2002, when I started hanging out with his best friend (who I ended up dating for a while.) The first time I saw him he was delivering pizzas, and driving past us.
2: We all know that Hull made the site. But have /you/ made contributions to it? In the likely case of 'yes', what are they?
I did most of the art for the Saviis. That's really my biggest contribution.
3: What is your favourite aspect of this community? Why?
I like the chat rooms, it's nice because you don't have to wait hours for an answer generally, and I enjoy both the casual chat, and deeper discussions. =)
4: Moving on from site-related stuff, what's daily life like for you?
My daily life is consumed by my children. GiGi is now Kindergarten age, and I am homeschooling her. I get up, change diapers, make breakfast, do schooling, make more food, you get the idea...
5: What's it like living with Hull?
I enjoy living with Danny. We can have our spats, but for the most part we get along fine, and he makes me laugh. He is a funny guy, but when he concentrates on something, he gets really into it, and it's hard to get him away (especially programming/game development).
6: You once told me you had a ferret named Icarus. Care to tell our viewers about that?
I used to have a lot of ferrets! Icarus was my 4th. I named him that because he thought he could fly, he was not a very bright animal, which made him all the cuter. Other ferrets would play with something for a bit, get tired of it, and move on, but he could do the same thing over and over, lol. I was quite attached to him, and he was my first ferret to die, a fairly drawn out ordeal. Not fun.
7: How are your kidlings doing?
The kids are doing great. As I said, GiGi is doing homeschooling Kindergarten now. She is a good girl, and really tries to be a big helper. Mitch is 3, and though very sweet, also a major handful, and constantly into things. Samson is the easiest, sweetest baby. He's so quiet most of the time, it's easy to forget he's there.
8: This might be a hard one, so it doesn't have to be part of the interview if you don't want it to be, and you don't need to answer. May I ask what happened with Castiel?
I believe Danny wrote a blog about what happened with Cas. He died in my womb, and I delivered him stillborn, at 35 and a half weeks. The autopsy did not reveal a cause of death, which is very difficult to this day. Losing Cas is easily the hardest thing I have ever gone through, but has also brought me closer to God than anything else I have been through. I still miss him everyday, and he is never far from my thoughts.
9: anything you want to tell our viewers about yourself before the last question?
What defines me, and molds me more than anything else, is my desire to be a humble servant to the Lord. Both Danny and I try to live our lives according to His will, and if I can ever be of help to anyone here, with anything, especially any questions about Christianity, please feel free to ask me.
10: if you've read any of my previous interviews, you saw this coming: Can I has admin?
Ask Danny, I haven't been active enough to know what's going on here lately. =P
And that wraps up the latest of my interviews. Thanks for coming back to us, Sav!
