It all started with a meeting. Yes. A meeting. Causing the end of the world. No lies. plz nu h8 m8
It was for the Mudkips, a team for the National Pokémon Championship. Secretly, one of the members worked for Team Rocket. Steve, a 27-year old trainer, had been watching the meetings closely, for 17 years. At age 19 was when he got to join The Mudkips.
The Mudkips had been training for years, and also played around with gene splicing. Most of these experiments were unsuccessful. Until this day. The Mudkips had attempted to make a Voltorb, and succeded, but only partially. The Voltorb was more like a bomb. Instead of getting rid of it, they sold it to the goverment. The goverment requested they made more. The Mudkips was changed to Mudkip Co.
Steve had managed to get the directions for the Voltorb bombs, however. He brought it back to Team Rocket, and they started producing them. Now, they had to test them...

The PokéCorp building was busy today. Trainers from around the world rushed to get in. Ian, a 21-year old trainer, stepped in front of the building. "PokéCorp, Creators Of The Original Poké Ball," the sign claimed. Of course, now everyone was getting in the buisness. Even Mudkip Co. was producing Poké Balls.
Today, PokéCorp was going to splice the genes from various Pokémon and humans. Unlike their previous attempts, this one was public, exciting everyone. Ian quickly realized that he needed to go in the testing chamber. He ran in and began the gene-splicing process. The process had so much radiation that Ian had to wear a radiation suit. The gene splicing was going on for hours. Ian almost thought that there would be no outcome when 8 eggs rolled out of the machine. Ian took off the radiation helmet and picked up one of the eggs. It appeared to be a Pichu egg, which was one of the Pokémon who's genes were used. Ian just stared at it. The attempt was sucessful.
