Ah yes. This isn't good morning Vietnam like I said it would be but oh well. You'll live. ANYWAYS! Here's a movie series that is older than most of you guys. The first Mad Max was a low-budget Aussie production featuring Mel Gibson made in 1979. It was better than it sounds. But here, 36 years and 2 more movies later, the fourth one comes out.
The Cast While it doesn't have Mel Gibson (although people would've gone insane if it did,) the cast was pretty well fit for the part. Max (Portrayed by Tom Hardy) wasn't super tough looking but he was still tough which fits the movie really well. I can't name any others without spoilers so I'll move on.
The Plot The plot was a bit confusing. There were some parts that they referenced the last movie in but didn't give explanation. Actual spoiler -->
The little girl was one. She was in beyond thunderdome but that was in 1985.
Also, some other parts dragged on and I won't go into explanation in great detail but I felt they focus a bit too much on one thing. The rest was great. Some sad parts, but they're just as good as the rest.
Soundtrack I don't remember there being much. I mean there was some but that was sparse. Although the music that was there was very fitting to that grungy, post apocalyptic wasteland type thing. But overall, there wasn't much.
Overall Rating Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. I mean it was good but it wasn't the best. It had some blurry details that it wouldn't hurt to explain briefly, but it was pretty good all around.
