An old monk goes for a walk on a beautiful day. As he goes for his walk, he comes across a young lady who has sprained her ankle and can't walk. She needs to cross the road near them though. The monk isn't allowed to go to the other side of the road due to the monk's rules. But the monk picks her up and carries her across the road anyways. He sits her on a bench on the other side of the road and crosses back to the other side of the road to continue his walk. Another monk sees this and is completely astonished. He catches up to the monk who held the young lady across the road and scolds him. He explained what he did was forbidden of the monks. The monk simply stated back, "You see it as breaking a rule. I see it as helping somebody in need of assistance."
The lesson here is simple. Some things aren't as obvious to some people... Look at something in different ways... Don't just see what obvious to you, because others may not see it the way you do. If you think there's more of a lesson to it, feel free to comment.
