Hia. I like making blogs so let's have one with a topic shall we?
Today's topic: Genders
Yeh. This is full of OPINIONS. So if you're offended by mine, feel free to leave. I won't stop you. Anyways, on to the topic. I know you may be thinking, "What opinion can he possibly have on 'gender'" WELL LET ME TELL YOU! The whole "gender control" thing. One of the most annoying things is when people say stuff isn't "ladylike" to a woman. Shut up. There is no way to act based on your gender. There's one way to act. Like a decent, civilised human being. Women shouldn't have to behave a certain way or like certain things. Same with men. Before you think that this is a feminism thing, let me bring up something else that is big about genders. People think that women are "fragile" and should get special treatment. I'm not saying that you shouldn't treat women any differently than you would another person, I'm just saying that you shouldn't raise them up as a gender that can't be touched by men. I'm an all-around calm guy. I don't hit peope that often. But if a woman tried to hit me repeatedly, I'd give multiple warnings as I would anyone else but I wouldn't sit back and let her punch on me, I'd do something about it same as if it were a man. See my point here? We aren't defined by gender. There are strong women, there are weak men. Everyone SHOULD be treated equally. No gender should get special treatment just because they're that gender. If you're a woman, feel free to do what ever you want (within reason) there's no such thing as a manly thing. Same goes for men. There's no such thing as being feminine. There's only being human.
I'm so judged like this all the time just because I'm tomboy. "Oh, you were made as a girl. Act like one." It gets so annoying, but people don't understand that I like stuff that weren't meant for girls.
