I've just finished off an awesome program which lets you look at a map with your 3DS. Simply load it up, tap Search, type in your address, tap the other search button and you're in business!

This is a demo version of JSivy Maps, which will have more features such as directions and improved street view to name a few. JSivy Maps will be released... whenever it's ready. That shouldn't be too far off into the future - at most probably a month away - since I have most of the code already done as you can now see. I've been making map programs to run on DSes for a while now, so I know what I'm doing.

At the core of JSivy Maps is Bing Maps - it not only provides the actual map but it also translates the locations you type in to latitude/longitude co-ordinates for the map. It will also provide the directions information when I have that feature ready.

For now, though, I hope you find this useful.

(Please note that I have only been able to test it personally with a New Nintendo 3DS. It runs like a dream on that system but I make no guarantees as to how well it will run on non-New 3DSes. It should work alright, though. My friend says it does ^.^)
