"Maybe, but if you so much as tell anyone, I will kill you, and the person that you told," I say through gritted teeth. I let go of his scalp and stand up. I grab the book bag.
"What's in there?" The teen asks suspiciously.
"That's also none of your business... What's your name?" I ask.
"Sam," He says, looking down at me.
"Well, Sam, we're outta here. Come on, Jax," I pull Dan by the wrist, towards the window. I push it open and slide through, my bare feet landing on the cool, dewy grass. Dan lands behind me.
"Hey, you might wanna lock your window," Dan says threateningly. Sam nodded vigurously, closed it, and locked it.
"Serves him right," I mutter under my breath, closing my eyes to transform. I open my eyes to see Dan has done the same.
I look up to the window and see Sam's surprised face. I laugh, draw my index finger across my throat and point it at him, mockingly.
"Gyani, stop messing around. We've got to go," Dan says, and I see he's already ahead of me. I sprint to catch up with him, starting our journey home.
