Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't made a chapter in FOREVER, but I just forgot about it. But here I am, back for another chapter! This might suck, but I hope you guys like it!

Flare's point of view

"It must be...." I mutter, but my voice trails off. I'm trying to remember what I had read in a mysterious book about weird occurrences.
"Extended night." a sudden voice inside my head says. My head starts to throb painfully.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" I scream, making Zen and Ryu turn to look at me. Zen looked concerned. "Flare, are you okay?" Ryu asked, leaning towards me. "I... I'm okay." I lie, pushing him away.
"Hey! Keep it down!" The bus driver yells at me. "Y-yes sir." I reply, as students turned to look at me. I sigh, and look back out of the window.

*At School*

I go to my first hour class, and I pick a seat. As I sit down, at least half of the class stares at me. "What?" I say, looking at them weird. They look intimidated by me suddenly and turn away. Gosh, what's with them?

Then a middle-aged woman walks into the classroom. "Class! Stop talking!" She yells at everyone. They turn around and look at her. "My name is Mrs. Johnson, and I will be your biology teacher this year. Now, we all shall introduce ourselves! You first!" Mrs. Johnson says, pointing at a tall, blond-haired boy. "Umm... Hi. My name is Matthew. I'm 15 years old, and I moved here from Nevada... Umm.. That's it..." He finishes awkwardly, playing with the strings of his hoodie.
Huh. He's a quiet boy, I thought to myself, staring at him. He notices me staring at him and looks away, still fiddling with his hoodie strings.
"You next!" Mrs. Johnson jabs her finger at me. Oh no, I hate introducing myself.
"Ummm... My name is Flare and I live with my sister Zen, and our friend Ryu.. And also our parents—" BAM! A noise that came from the back of the room interrupts me.
Then I see it.
The cats.
