Even though house cats are an invasive species that have cause native bird species to go extinct because cats will hunt birds even if they are not hungry. Spaying and neutering cats also prevents them from getting certain cancers and allows them to live 10 years longer on average. But haha no I am a terrible person for letting my cat get spayed. Even though our neighborhood is filled with tom cats and my cat likes to run outside, so if my cat were not spayed I would probably suddenly have a bunch of kittens I can't take care of. But I didn't get my cat declawed because it's actually really unnecessary and a slighly inhumane practice that has alternatives that doesn't require the very tip of the cats toe bones to be surgically removed. They euthanize hundreds of animals every year because they rather see them be dead than live in captivity. They think owning a dog or a cat is abuse.
