The new Bulletin Board system is set up using PHPBB. I figured this would be a good way to move forward because it would allow The use of a third-party solution to modernize the community. I don’t have time to keep up everything on my own, so this relieves a burden and gives us several new features in the process. For the moment, new account signups cannot be done on the new bulletin board; they must be done through the current methods in the community.
This replaces the current bulletin boards, private messages, and polls. The current systems will remain in place for the foreseeable future, but they will not receive updates. I have placed links from each of those sections of the community to the the new Bulletin Board. Creation of new threads has been locked for the current system, but replies to threads can continue. If I can, I will migrate over old topics to the new system, but that may be a longshot. Polls and PMs will not be migrated.
Sessions and account updates will eventually be shared between the websites, so you will be able to log in once and jump between websites.
Aside from BBs, PMs, and polls, other aspects of the community will continue to receive updates, based on the code foundations of 3DSPaint.com. DSiPaint.com will remain as is to keep it usable on the target platform. Obviously, the newer websites for SDK Paint and SDK Spriter will also receive updates.
What about our Badges that correspond to these particular sections?
And also, I'm glad I can see my impact on you in this blog, but how does it help relieve the burden on you if you are still the kingpin?

Okay. Then how will they be incorporated?

I may write some plug-in for the new BBs. There are no plans to do away with other aspects of this community, so badges will stay in profiles, anyways.
