Game & Watch - Ball:
Game & Watch was the first consumer product sold BY Nintendo of america! Pretty Cool huh?. it was made in 1980!! (That was before the NES was made!). featuring a simple minigame with flipbook style graphics played on a single color LCD Screen (We though that was epic back in the day! o-o). Ball was the debut game in the series and had a character called Mr. Game & Watch. and also had classic Nintendo Characters over its 11 year history such as Donkey Kong, Mario, And Link. True to its nane, Game & Watch systems had a clock and alarm function (That was useful).
Game Boy:
Its time for the Nintendo Game Boy!. Remember The NES (Nintendo Entertainment System)?. Well it was very popular, But it was not Portable And the cartridges Where too big!. So Nintendo made the Game Boy!, Woo hoo Party time!
Anyways the Game Boy was Nintendo's very First handheld cartridge based system and was made in 1989. Create by the same team that developed the Game & Watch series
And is 8-bit.
And it had a Horrible Green colored screen(that was epic at the time somehow) and was bundled with the Legendary Tetris Game.
Game Boy Pocket:
Ok so the Game Boy was a big hit! but it didn't fit into your pocket very good
So the Game Boy Pocket came out!. Its smaller, lighter, and requiring fewer batteries because the original Game Boy took.. uh i thank is 4 AA batterys(If i'm wrong please tell me) And the screen was true black and white!. The Game Boy pocket system came in various colors and played the original Game Boy games.
Game Boy Color:
So.. you though black and white was cool?. Well There was no color (i don't know why they didn't add color before), So the Game Boy Color came out in 1998.
The Game Boy Color system was the first Game boy product to have color! Full Color display, capable of displaying 56 colors simultaneously from its palette of 32'768. It had epic Color Variations such as Berry, Grape, Dendelion, Teal, Kiwi, And Clear Purple. its processor clock speed was twice as fast and had four times as much memory. it also had infrared communications port for wireless linking.
Game Boy Advance:
The Color was epic! But now a new system was born, The Game Boy Advance made in 2001. It was 32-bit and was the only full-size Game Boy system with a horizontal design
and was backward compatibility with the Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. It was the last Game Boy system to use non-rechargeable batterys and no illuminating display.
Game Boy Advance SP:
This is my favorite Game Boy System. The Game Boy Advence SP made in 2003 featuring a clamshell design and front-loading cartridge slot. It was the last full-size model in the Game Boy product line. The headphone jack was removed
and had a rechargeable battery. it also had a built-in display light so you can play in the dark. The Game Boy Advance SP system was compatible with the original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. So get this system if you like The Game Boy
Nintendo DS:
So one screen was cool huh? But what about Two Screens?
Yup is true on the epic Nintendo DS. The very first model in the family, the Nintendo DS system introduced dual LCD screen design within a folding clamshell casing. the lower screen was a touch screen (you should know that) and had a built-in microphone, And Wi-Fi connection. The Nintendo DS was backward compatible with Game Boy Advance games (sadly not Game boy or Game Boy Color games). Oh ya it was made in 2004
Game Boy Micro
Ok The Game Boy micro system made in 2005(is very small!) was the last Game Boy system. it featured a backlit screen with brightness control, volume control and a removable face plate. so thats it
Nintendo DS Lite
The Nintendo DS Lite made in 2006 is a smaller, slimmer version of the original Nintendo DS, Featuring brighter, adjustable screens, improved battery life, and a larger stylus. it had many color variations such as Polar White, Ice Blue, Coral Pink, Onyx, Metallic Silver, Metallic Rose, Crimson/ Black, Cobalt/ Black. Many special edition themes were release for this model.
Nintendo DSi:
The Nintendo DSi system made in 2009 debuted two digital cameras, one on the front and one rear-facing. as well as a slot for an SD card. Also newly added to this system was an extra brightness level and a power button for resetting to a menu similar to the Wii and tuning off the system. And you can buy applications on the DsiWare Application and use applications such as The Nintendo DSi Sound And alot more.
Nintendo DSi XL:
Is a waste of your money! is A Larger version of the Nintendo DSi made in 2010. just like the pointless Nintendo 3DS XL. it had two extra large 4.2-inch wide ultra bright LCD screens. Never get this system if you have a Nintendo Dsi.
I'm Runing out of room so I cant tell you about the Nintendo 3DS.
