The note had a drawn picture of a large mouse and it read, 'Hello, ya rat.' Jaiden laughed as she knew it was from her friend, Lana. She saw Lana down the hall and ran to catch up with her. "Hey! thanks for the pleasant greeting!" said Jaiden. "Yeah, you're welcome. I think we have a pop quiz in social studies today." "Oh, thanks for the heads up." said Jaiden.
Two tests, a quiz, and hours later, She went to go meet Jay at her house and found him sitting on the steps. "Hey! I'm here for the show? One ticket please!" inquired Jay. Jaiden laughed and led him inside. They sat down in the living room on the leather couch. "Okay, now look," said Jaiden. Jay watched as she took the doll out of her bag and whispered, "Wake up, Leo." The red doll popped up and looked around and saw Jay. "Woah, who are you?" asked Leo. "And I wasn't finished talking to you, Jaiden."
Jaiden laughed and said, "Leo, meet Jay. Jay, meet Leo." Jay smiled his crooked smile and shook the doll's little arm. "This is so cool" said Jay. "What am I here for? I am still confused about what's going on.." said Leo. "Ok, I crafted you and brought you to life by touching you with part of my soul. I call my creations 'features'" explained Jaiden. "Nobody else knows about this talent except for my parents, Jay, and the things I make." Leo finally got it. He stood up and tried to gain his balance. Jay held him up and helped him take a few steps.
"So, are there any more of these 'features'?" asked Leo. Jay looked at Jaiden to see what her response would be. "Yeah, there are a few." she said. "Would you mind elaborating on that, please?" said Jay in a reporter-type voice. Jaiden giggled and said, "Well, I made a kitten and a bird once. Currently, you are the only one that is an active feature at the moment, let me go grab one that I made last week." Jaiden ran upstairs, grabbed a blue one, ran back, and flopped on the couch. She moved it on her palm, and whispered, "Wake up."
