Here's a quick summary of the recent community meeting:
HullBreach Studios projects:
* Tomeling in Trouble (Android, iOS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U) - It will have device cross-play and link to the community for leaderboards.
* Unnamed Tomeling RPG (Android, iOS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U) - This will be multi-platform with cross-play and link to the community in some way, more details later.
* Break-a-Bull (Nintendo 3DS) - This will be a destruction game involving a bull with similar mechanics to Blast Corps for the N64, more details later.
* Exprestive (iOS) - This facial-recognition music game is in beta on Testflight. You can contact me for details on signing up to test.
SDK Community projects:
* SDK Community (iOS) - After Exprestive launches in a few weeks, this will be the next priority.
* SDK Community API - This will be published publicly in the community so that other members can create their own apps that link to it.
SDK Community short-term tiny plans:
* Go over Help Desk items to see what is still valid
* Fix bug where draft blogs show as requests to feature
* Fix bug where < and > don't show in chatrooms
* Add dark mode to areas that have new styling
SDK Community long-term big plans:
* Add new game match-making feature to replace old Nintendo WiFi one
* Finish overhaul of blogs for new styling and subscriptions with notifications (browser-based, when supported)
* Finish overhaul of member profiles, including comments section
* Add ability to override custom profile styling, particularly for issues concerning epilepsy and colorblindness
I don't mean to be rude, that's not my intention, but I'm curious as to your decision to release your upcoming games on 3DS and Wii U. Wouldn't Switch be a better option to get them more exposure and whatnot?
2) I imagine they have been working on developing this for awhile so it may not be so easy to just scrap it and start from scratch with a new framework and what not.
the match-making feature sounds amazing along with most of what's in here
definitely excited for what's coming
quick question tho'-- where will we be finding the HullBreach Studios 3ds projects? if they're ready to be used
