I'm not lost,

just stuck.

It feels like everywhere I try to go,

There's something stopping me.

I'm tired of hitting these dead ends,

So tired that I can't wait for everything to end.

How much longer do I have to wait

To get out of this horrible cycle I hate.

Now I have given up.

Instead of trying to find the right way,

I just stand still.

I wish someone would guide me,

But ever since birth I have known that I am the only one I truly have.

But i'm losing myself...

Who do I have left?

It seems i'm just alone with my brain,

I try to run away,

But trying is only a tiresome strain.

People everywhere try to convince me to stay,

But in a year they wouldn't remember me anyway.

I'm still only a child,

But I have grown up too fast.

Maybe this world is too much for me to grasp.
