Hello there, I just wanted to make an announcement about "Member Appreciation Day." We have quite a few new faces since a year ago when I decided to make an SDK holiday. The date is September 15th, it's pretty much a day where you take the time to think about what the other members of paint mean to you and the impact they have on your life. Last year I poured my heart into writing a blog where I pretty much had a little message for most people, it took a few hours but it was worth it, things are different this year so I won't be following that up but here's a link if you're curious. I just thought of an idea now however, if you'd like you can direct a message of gratitude towards someone in the style I did for others the year previous and send it over to me I can post them at the end of this blog on the actual day of this holiday, it'd be kind of a surprise seeing a message that someone wrote for you in here I would think. Depending on how this goes it may or may not happen.

The main reason for writing this blog a bit earlier than the holiday was just to give some background to those who are new and to make an announcement of a chatroom event that has been set up for this holiday, it will be held this Sunday, September 15th. at 3pm Pacific Standard time. (5pm CDT, 6pm EST, 11pm *England time zone*, etc. You can convert 3pm PST online to your local time of you aren't sure.) I'll try to be there half an hour before that time if you'd like to come by early as well. The event is already viewable at the bottom of the chatrooms menu as well. Just come and hang out with everyone. I hope to see a lot of you there.

Lastly I just want to give an early thank you to the community for being an amazing group of individuals who I'm glad to call most my friends, be sure to come check back on this blog on Sunday to see the possible messages that were submitted to be here. Thank you, have a nice day!

I wanted to thank Randy for just being an amazing friend, he never hesitates to help someone out, and I'm glad he's given me useful advice throughout my time knowing him, other than being helpful Randy is a kind down to earth individual with a nice sense of humor, a reliable friend who I'll always support and admire. Words can only describe so much but I'm thankful he continues to stick around and keep being himself.

Since last year, I've had the pleasure of getting to know you more as a person and I've learned quite a bit about you compared to before. For starters Asparagus has a creative mind I've learned from seeing her writings, very talented indeed. She's an easy person to talk to and get along with in my opinion, Kind as well, of course. A laid back person for the most part. She's hosted game nights with the community which I still have yet to been able to take part of as of now but I will eventually. It's just nice to see that type of care she has for the people here. The energy surrounding her feels welcoming and I'm happy to have her also stick around and support the community as she has been for years.

You were relatively new here around last year so I really didn't have much to say but since then you've become a friend who I talk with regularly and I wouldn't feel right if I left you out. Well you changed your name since then but still. This grey person here is a funny and unpredictable person at times, having positive friends around really helps you out mentally and for the most part I can expect that out of her. She's very thoughtful, even went out of her way to make me a graduation present which I have on my profile. So ggggg. That's one of the reasons I'm writing this to her also, as a way of saying thank you since I can't really return the favor in the same fashion. She makes tons of creative art and some of it I've been told looks professional by other friends who don't even know her. I thank you for all the support you have given and to come in the future.

Siling-La is an Amazing Writer, and an Amazing Friend, and I couldn't even be Writing MoD right now if it weren't for him.

acidAPPLE: When I first came here, I wasn't sure how many Pokémon Players there were here, and even once I found out that there were, I still felt a bit awkward, not only because I never got to go Competitive, but also because I chose the Path of the Dragon Master.

AcidAPPLE is one of my closest Friends, and a fellow Dragon Master, and I'm Proud to call her my Multi Battle Partner.
(Although I still have no idea even when I'm going to do that Multi Battle, lol!)

CMRocks: Our Friendship here got off to a bit of a rocky start, but CM is one of my Best Friends here now, and I'm VERY glad that he is.

SCREECHING FLARE: From early on, you were one of the biggest supporters of my Blogs, and although we never actually talked until later, I was always very thankful for your support.

Asparagus hasn't changed my life, but she has helped me cope with stuff that not even she can understand. She is the type of person that makes you want to forget life and just party for a while. When I feel down, she takes my problems, and throws them off a 3 story building. She then throws me, because I am too naive to understand such a thing. Although she is a very joyful person, there are times where she doesn't feel like life is good enough, and she drinks it all away. But that is what compels me to not do the bad things in life, because I could end up like her.

Hard to believe I've known you and this site for almost a decade. We may not know each other personally close but we've seen everything good and bad about this site. The site has improved slowly over the years but it can do better.
