I'm rambling to ramble because I wanna get this out but don't feel like vague posting somewhere and no ones up to talk about it who wouldnt just agree with my paranoia.

But I don't think I ever told the story of the kid who stole from me. Its not really that long, it essentially boils down to, I write bios for characters I make sometimes because I make them for fun, but I hate writing and making bios are a slog so only the characters I genuinely like really get bio. Or atleast good ones. And this kid just kind of comes by and plagiarizes two of the ones I wrote for one character that I really like and the other was from the characters sister. Tried to pass off completely copying and pasting both as their own work. I tried to get it handled the quiet way of going to the person in charge of the place the kid plagiarized cause this was on amino, but the leader just kinda did jack.

Since the leader was so bad I didnt bother trying to talk to the kid because they had a position of power and could easily hide my profile and get me banned. So I just publicly called their ass out, cause I'm not gonna sit by and let people steal my shit. The kid lies and tries to say I gave her permission, which I clearly didn't, and tries to say it was just a place holder, which that isnt how that works. So it starts a whole shitshow between her stupid friends white knighting her and me and my friend just wanting my shit to not be stolen.

Eventually it got kind of taken care of, mostly the kid just deleted the stolen stuff then ran and hid. I pretty much blocked her everywhere I know she has an account to keep her away from my shit, but I'm not convinced she's ever actually stopped trying to steal from me. Just gotten better at it to a point I can't say anything. Since a lot of her characters have had almost too many similarities between either mine or my friends. Like being nearly the same character or weird unfitting amalgamations of a few that aren't plagiarized, but are pretty much the same just essentially written in her own words.

And any time I'd either say something vaguely to someone who is friends with her, suddenly poof the character will either disappear or be changed. Its not like I even threaten to do anything, because unless I have substantial proof I won't and can't. I'm not an idiot.

But my stupid fucking paranoid lizard brain keeps telling me the kids trying to like copy me as a person. If that makes any sense. Which sounds absolutely fucking crazy and out there, because it is. And tbh its probably just a case of having similar interests, but just something about it keeps tipping off my paranoia.

Cause like, everyone knows I love Doom, that has been established. And I know shortly after I started playing Doom and fell in fucking love with it and started going on about it publicly, the kid had made like a new Deviantart or something and suddenly she likes Doom. Now maybe she actually does, how the fuck should I know, I dont know her personally and I'm not gonna be one of those crazy people that like gatekeeps, cause thats probably dumber than my paranoia is.

But it just feels really off that 1.) Most of her other listed likes for games are literally shit like Cooking Mama or like Pac Man lmao and 2.) It wasn't until a f t e r I started going on about how much I love it. She also only ever talks about it very selectively but like then again, I probably have an obsession.

She was also suddenly into Gore after I made some joke candy gore shit because some rules on an amino bothered me. She even copied that gore stuff I had made and admitted to it, which is the real time I started being extra paranoid. But this kid continues to be like "UwU I like gore" when the only times she's ever drawn it was when she was copying me, hasn't drawn it since from what I've seen.

Also shortly during that time period she started trying to describe herself like I do, like just generally being self deprecating and calling myself a bitch or mean or shit like that. When beforehand this kid was literally the most cowardly person, and generally not "UwU an asshole." And still isn't. Tbh if it wasn't for the fact she didn't steal from me I maybe could have been friends with her.

She also started typing like me, which was really noticeable. Especially when you didn't type like I do because I type like a neanderthal and often have stupid shit I do to in typing because of the weird way Amino works. Like spacing out text for emphasis because I can't bold inbetween lines. Or only using a few different text emojis. Generally just :U >:U and thats it.

Obviously other people do those things too, its not selectively me. And being honest I wouldnt bat an eye at like anyone else, just this one kid who's already given me reason to be suspicious. Also she literally only started doing it after me and just generally trying to imitate how I act it seems. Atleast to me.

But I'll admit I'm a paranoid dumbass so like thats probably why I think like this.

Tbh I probably wouldn't even think about this either if I didnt hold a grudge against this kid because I'm petty and angry. I mean I would never actually accuse or say anything about thinking she's trying to copy me as a person because that sounds crazy, but like doesn't mean I don't suspect it.
