(Flood Infection and Combat Forms were everywhere. Shadow and the Spartans are shooting them down. Hunter was left behind on 179's orders, to keep him from being infected)
Spartan 179: What the hell happened? I thought the Flood were destroyed!
Shadow: Not all of them, evidently.
Spartan 003: Who cares right now?! Let's just clear the crap and go home!
(a bolt of white energy hits a Combat Form from above, disintegrating it. A white hedgehog looking just like Sonic appears and sends a wave of energy, slicing the rest of the Combats, then hedgehog ghosts appear and he absorbs them and lets out a blast of energy, clearing the place of Flood)
Shadow: Hm...
Spartan 179: Who are--?
Hedgehog: I am Phantom the Hedgehog, the last of my family. The rest of my bloodline had been infected and destroyed by the Flood. I am the only survivor.
Shadow: Are you--?
Phantom: You will learn all about my ancestry if you will take time to listen.
