I just finished updating several aspects of the Polls. Normally, I post changes on Patreon, but many of these seem worth sharing with the general community.
* The URLs of the Polls section have been updated.
* You can share the shorter URLs of /poll?id=### to jump straight to a poll.
* Declined polls are no longer deleted but go into an unfeatured state, like blogs.
* Member profiles now have links to all the their polls (featured or not) as a new page.
* It's now possible to view all polls (featured or not) from the main Polls menu.
* The blue gradient bars on poll results have been replaced by solid gray bars to match the general page styling.
* I shuffled around some whitespace in the PHP code. (Yay!)
Excellent! I was looking forward to these changes for a LONG time!
Two questions, though: can polls be deleted and/or bumped like blogs can, and if not, is that planned for the future?
(IK that I have quite a few old polls that I wouldn't mind bumping.)
though- this may be a bit picky- i prefer the blue because it has a higher contrast to the background, especially in dark mode. the grey isn't a bad choice, but it blends in too much. maybe use a more saturated colour? or add an outline?
