SDK Quilt Update: Due to the lack of submissions for the Summer, Autumn, Winter, and annual SDK Quilts this last year, DCTheGamr is going to be making a TON of squares for each of the aforementioned quilts himself, so that they are actually able to be completed.

This does NOT mean that I am no longer accepting submissions from the community, however, just that I will no longer be relying on said submissions in order to finish all of these quilts that I (foolishly) had started last year.

Once all 4 of the remaining 2024 quilts are made, I will begin working on a single annual SDK Quilt for 2025 with 1 or more specific themes, just like I did with the (rather successful) 2023 quilt.



In the meantime, however, I encourage anyone interested in submitting squares for any of the unfinished quilts to do so.

SDK Pokemon Tournament Update: As expected, there have been a number of complications with regards to getting participants for this year's tournament. Based on my experiences holding last year's tournament (and the way this year's one seems to be going so far), I can only realistically expect DCTheGamr and Peanut1999 to participate out of all those who have expressed an interest in doing so thus far, which is obviously far fewer participants than I had hoped for…

One thing I am considering is changing my tournament from a Pokémon Showdown one to a Gen 4 or Gen 5 handheld one conducted over Wiimmfi, since (unlike Pretendo) Wiimmfi actually seems to work. However, I would only do so if I am going to be able to get more participants by doing so, and since GalacticGam3r37's 3DSiPaint Discord server is currently more active than Paint itself, I am uncertain that this would be the case.
(Because any device that can use Discord can also use Pokémon Showdown.)

So what are y'all's opinions about this? Should I move the tournament over to the handheld games? Or should it remain on Pokémon Showdown? And is anyone here actually interested in participating in it?

P.S. If the tournament is to remain on Showdown, it will be a NatDex Doubles Ubers tournament, with the slight changes of Shedinja being unbanned and CAP Pokémon being allowed.
