It's crazy to think that I've been a part of this site for a year now.
I still remember my desperate searching for chatrooms that worked on my 2DS internet browser so that I could talk with a close friend during late hours when my phone was confiscated. I didn't come across 3DS Paint until I had almost given up. It was listed on a "top sites that work on the Nintendo internet browser" website.
I signed up almost instantly and my friend and I spent countless hours every night using the chatrooms. Funny enough, we both thought the site was dead for the longest time. It was quite the surprise to have several others join Chatroom Jasper with us.
This site not only provided means of communication for me, but it allowed me to meet some amazing people. I'd like to take a moment to shoutout two members of the Paint community: Leftist-Tachyon and IblisFlare. Both of them showed concern and talked things through with me when I almost ended it all last December. Getting such kindness from someone that's almost a complete stranger is something I've never experienced, nor was something I'd ever expect from a place like this. Thank you both, and may you have Hylia and All-Mother's blessings.
And thank you everyone. Thank you for being a part of this, thank you for giving this site life, thank you for keeping it going. As I grow older and eventually say my goodbyes to this site, I know I'll never forget it. This site will forever hold a place in my heart.
Once again, thank you.
PS. Yes it is me and that friend who are in the chatrooms almost every night.
i least i know the two people that are their in jasper. never really liked the chat rooms since it took forever to load the text on my dsi. NGL,it bothered me that i didint know who was in the chat rooms cuz it never told me XD
Congrats! I'm glad that Paint had such as positive impact on your life as well!
People like you who are active here on a regular basis (like how I used to be, back when I could) are the best kind of people to have here, because you give whoever else happens to pop in someone to talk to, and to bond with. (And it is the bonds of friendship that have kept this place alive all these years.)
