Konnichiwa!

After seeing what a HUGE success last year's SDK Quilt was, I decided to go through with an idea that TacoRocco (the original creator of the SDK Quilt) had back in 2011: Seasonal Quilts.

Springtime has only just begun, and so anyone interested in participating in this year's Spring SDK Quilt has all season long to work on and submit their square(s) for it.

I'm not expecting nearly as many participants as I had for the annual 2023 SDK Quilt last year, and my goal for this Spring Quilt is 9 squares, the same size as the 2018 SDK Quilt, and so here are the rules for the seasonal SDK Quilts:

• Each person can make as many squares for the springtime Quilt as they want.

• You can draw your square or edit images to make it, just like with the annual SDK Quilts.

• You should try to make your Quilt pieces as square-shaped as possible, so that they all fit together more easily.

• Image size doesn't necessarily matter that much, as I can resize images that are too large or too small as necessary.

• The theme for the seasonal SDK Quilts is the season in which they take place. Squares for this springtime Quilt, for example, could have flowers, bees, an Easter, Passover or Ramadan theme, or literally anything to do with this time of year, including a memory of something that happened this spring that means something personally to you.
(I'm being pretty loose about my interpretation of the theme, in other words.)

As for deadlines, I expect to have this year's Spring SDK Quilt finished by July 1st July 7th July 15th, and if anyone here has any questions about these seasonal SDK Quilts, don't hesitate to ask!
