in late 2020/early 2021 my parents were thinking of moving to texas (we went like 5 times) or las vegas (we had a vacation there), and my mom didn't appreciate the different seasons we had in Missouri and wanted something new. In mid 2021 we started to pack up in prepared to move. In the middle of preparing to move we held a yard sale to get rid of some things were not gonna take with us.

Near the end of the 2021 summer, in the morning we get up super early to start our trip to Las vegas. we said our final goodbyes to Missouri on our way to las vegas. During this drive, we saw a lot of farmland and certain cities as we traveled through multiple states. In the middle of New Mexico, it rained hard, and it was getting dark, so we stopped at a nearby hotel real quick to sleep.

When we were at the hotel, we watched the 2020 olympics (because they couldn't do the Olympics in 2020) and went to sleep. In the morning we continued on our journey, traveling through more states until it became nighttime and we made it, were in las vegas. The thousands of bright lights glistened in the night as we made our way towards the city.
