It's hard to know the real deal
To face those damn facts
You aint getting no cooked meal
They'll feed you to the rats.

Love is such a depressing thing
Yet it still brings joy
One more time to hear her sing
Not one more decoy.

She throws you out
Gives you away.

She doesn't want you anymore.
Now I wipe my tear-filled eyes
Until they're bruised and sore.

Adoption is very hard
To know you were given away
But another adult is now your guard
So you'll wake up to a happier day.

Yes your sharing your feeling but when you keep saying your biological mother didnt love you, when you DONT know the full story then dont whine about something you dont fully know about. You should be grateful she(might've) left you to be with people that have the sources to keep you breathing and your tummy full.

Animated, just becuase she left you somewhere and ran doesnt mean she hated you. MAYBE if she just left you in a dumpster or somewhere unfit for a baby, THEN she might've hated you. If she left you infront of a house, church buiding then its different. She might've not had the resources to take care of you. So stop whining.

I have no clue what it is like to be adopted, but I do know what it's like to be unwanted. I'm so sorry your mother did that to you. This is a very good poem & you tell it is written from the heart.

it is hard, tho, wen the police were taking me they told me i will go back and get the rest of my stuff and to grab one thing, soi grabbed my stuffed wolf, and i NEVER went back, and one of my foster parents threw my stuffed wolf away...

My 4 month old cousin just died.
She was alive for 4 months she was born ill but she lived felt loved wanted and needed at least she lived.

She doesn't necessarily have to hate you , you know...she might have been unable to take care of you, or maybe the environment she was in was a bad one. Who knows, but just because you're adopted doesn't mean your biological parents hate you.

Thanks =) Yea I was adopted but I know that I wouldn't want to live with mom, knowing she'd hate me and want to give me away.
