I think most blogs I've posted, accepted or not, they have been trying to share the gospel. I think that's good to try, but DSiPaint users have heard us so many times on the blogs.
Now, I will begin a Bible study for current Christians. They will include:
-A story from the Bible
-Thought-provoking questions
-or just thoughts
I will conclude each post with a key thought to try to stick in your head. Hopefully discussion will follow in the comments. Sometimes, the blogs won't be accepted. If that happens, I post links to it somewhere I guess.
Feel free to message me with questions about Christianity or about a Bible study. Anyone that would like to help would be greatly appreciated!
Because of this whole introduction, this first selection will be brief. This time of year, I will talk a lot about Christmas, and the Christmas story.
Tonight, I will focus on a different part of Christmas. Not the wisemen, not the shepherds, not Mary. No, not even baby Jesus. I'm going to focus on God. God only has one son. He lives in heaven, a perfect place. On that night, God sent His only Son to earth. Earth, a dirty place, full of sin. God knew that Jesus would be hated, and killed for our sin. But, He still sent Him. That is how much God loves us. How much are you willing to give? We wouldn't even spend a lot of money for someone else on Christmas. Would you give your only son away, even knowing he would die, just so you could save someone else?
Key thought: How much do you give for those you love?
