This is the second Bible Study. Today let's think about Mary and Joseph. Mary was engaged to Joseph when she became pregnant. That might seem normal in modern day, but then it was a very serious thing. Joseph knew he hadn't done it, so he was going to quietly break the engagement. Mary knew that she was still a virgin. Thankfully, God sent an angel explaining that she was carrying God's Son. There must have been many people that thought they had sinned. They just trusted God and did whatever He said. How would you react if you, being a virgin, became pregnant? (or your girlfriend did) With the whole world against you, what would you do? Would you obey God and trust Him to take care of you?
Please, feel free to message me questions. I'm trying to set up an event time to discuss the Bible.
Life is so much more fulfilling when you don't try to always make yourself in charge of it. By placing a higher power in charge of the unknowns of the bigger picture, you can focus on the day-to-day events and on family. A whole burden gets lifted, and stress lessens. For that, there are no downsides to trusting in God.
